Passenger on the Road

He sees the bright and hollow sky
He sees the stars come out tonight
He sees the city’s ripped backsides
He sees the winding ocean drive
And everything was made for you and me…
So lets take a ride and see what’s mine

--Iggy Pop

Chatting with my buddy Dominic, regaling tales from our week-long excursion from Seattle, Washington to Albuquerque, New Mexico, I dug up some pictures taken along the way. We covered a good deal of American landscape inside those seven days, from the Oregon coastline to the unforgiving desert of the American Southwest. These are just a couple of the finer prints, taken from Dom’s camera.

The Oregon coastline, the Redwood National Forest, and a downed airplane outside a Nevada brothel.

It’s a mighty big world out there...

These are very nice pictures Ty. We just finished our weekend of garage sale....we got rid of a bunch of stuff, made a few hundred dollars and are worn out but hey...that's the way it goes. Whit should be on her way home from Spokane right now. Reme spent the weekend at Bryanna's gram's house and they went to a dance club last night, back to school already I expect. Got to see Nathan, Lina and the girls for a bit yesterday when they stopped by, what fabulous weather we had too! Sunshine all day! Give your Mom my love...thanks for adding to the blog! Love ya!

Nice pictures, they remind me of my Dad's pictures of his trip with some of his buddies. It is a big world and to record it in pictures is so rewarding. I hope you go exploring again soon. Love ya and say hi to Mom

I love these Ty. Black and white always adds a demension of mysticism to an image. These places seem magical.
